Accommodation
Taptonholme has 18 rooms, 6 of which are in a modern extension. The other rooms are of varying sizes. One room is double and can accomodate a couple. All rooms have a washbasin and some rooms have their own ensuite facilities.

There are two lounges in which residents can relax and a pleasant dining room. Menus are varied and a choice of food is always given. The kitchen is modern with the best equipment and facilities. A lift serves all floors in the building.

Ambience
Taptonholme is small enough to offer a truly homely atmosphere but of sufficient size for there to be social dimension to its activities.

What it Includes
The weekly rates are variable depending on room size. The rates include all food, accommodation, heat, light and care facilities. There are no extra charges. Residents may have telephones in their rooms at their expense. There is no charge for social activities including excursions.

Residents in the larger rooms are encouraged to have their own furniture and possessions. In the more modern rooms in the extension, standard furniture is more appropriate. Hairdressing and chiropody services are at the residents’ expense.
